MNACHC Members and Staff Featured in Minensota Physician Magazine's "100 Influential Minnesota health Care Leaders" 

Every four years, the Minnesota Physician magazine names “100 Influential Minnesota Health Care Leaders” based on nominations from the publication’s readers.  According to the publication, the list represents “a cross section of the breadth and depth of Minnesota’s health care delivery system, from clinical care to health care policy to administration and management.”   Among those recognized include Rita Plourde, Dr. Patrick Rock, and Rhonda Degelau! NorthPoint Health and Wellness Plans for Expansion

The StarTribune includes an article on the upcoming redevelopment of the Plymouth/Penn intersection in north Minneapolis.  Thor Construction, the state’s largest minority-owned business, and Hennepin County have partnered to make this project possible, with Hennepin County contributing $67 million to fund a major expansion of NorthPoint’s campus.  The project also includes plans for a new 4-story building to house Thor Construction’s headquarters, street-level retail space, and a new parking deck. Former Health Center Patient Returns as Pharmacist

Kim Tran first encountered Community Uuniversity Health Care Center as a small child in the early 1990s, whose family immigrated to the U.S. from Vietnam. Name Change for MN Community Health Center
Migrant Health Service Inc. has changed its name to Community Health Service Inc. (CHSI) effective July 2014. The Clinic wants its communities to know that all are welcime at CHSI clinics. CHSI will continue to serve migrant workers, but its services are not limited to this population. 7.2014


Open Door Featured in River Valley Woman Magazine
Open Door Health Center was featured in the July 2014 edition of River Valley Woman magazine. ODHC is completing a sizable expansion which will enable it to provide dental, behavioral health and primary medical care for many more patients. Read the full article here. 7.2014
