Migrant Health Service, Inc. has changed its name to Community Health Service Incorporated (CHSI) effective July 2014. The Clinic wants its communities to know that all are welcime at CHSI clinics. CHSI will continue to serve migrant workers, but its services are not limited to this population.
Open Door Health Center was featured in the July 2014 edition of River Valley Woman magazine. ODHC is completing a sizable expansion which will enable it to provide dental, behavioral health and primary medical care for many more patients. Read the full article HERE.

Minnesota State Loan Repayment Program (MN SLRP)
Application materials are now available. The program provides funds for repayment of qualified educational loans fo up to $20,000 annually for full-time primary care providers and up to $10,000 annually for half-time primary care providers. For 2014, an estimated 5 to10loan repayment awards will be available. Applications due by August 20.

7.08.2013 - Congratulations to Neighborhood Health Source & Southside Community Health Services
They were selected by the GE Foundation to participate in GE’s Developing Health initiative! This program provides a 3-year commitment for volunteer service hours by local GE employees at each of the health centers, along with $250,000 in financial support to each health center over a 2-year period. GE volunteer teams and health center staff will focus on applying business-based process improvements and other value-added skills to benefit patients and workflows. 6.26.2013 - Open Door Health Center Recognized at MN Rural Health Conference
Open Door Health Center in Mankato received the Rural Health Team Award at the Minnesota Rural Health Conference. The award recognizes Open Door's launch of two mobile units in 2012.
